The school has a team of qualified medical practitioners who work with the matrons to ensure that the students are properly cared for.

The three boarding houses provide the girls a home from home where, supported by a team of highly experienced staff, they learn to develop into mature and independent young people.

Lifelong friendships are made here and a daily routine of academic work and extra-curricular activities encourages our girls to develop a healthy balance between work and play. Each boarding house has a strong team of caring staff who understand the needs of each girl.

Sports for All

Queens Science Academy has sincerely inclusive approach to PE and extra-curricular and encourages each girl to enjoy sport at the level that suits her.

The girls can choose from more than ten different sporting activities. Games such as athletics, handball, hockey, scrabble, table tennis, basketball and a host of others are played competitively against other schools and girls have the chance to represent Queens Science Academy across a range of sports. The school has enjoyed success in wide range of sports, including basketball, relay races and hockey.

With access to an indoor court for basketball, table tennis, field and sporting hall our girls have the opportunity to compete and enjoy at the highest level. We are keen to give our busy girls a healthy work-life balance and engender a zeal for physical activity.

Beyond participation and competition our girls work with children from local secondary schools and gain a wide range of coaching skills

Welcome to Queens Science Academy

"We believe that every girl is unique and therefore deserving of the very best we can provide"

We would like to extend a warm welcome to all our prospective parents and students. We are a thriving school community ready and waiting to welcome your daughter to a world full of new opportunities and experiences.

We believe that every young girl is unique and therefore deserving of the very best that we can provide.

Our Holistic approach to education is manifested by a sound pastoral care programme and a wide curriculum that caters for the academic, spiritual, moral, social and creative needs of our students.

As a Science Academy we try to stimulate the critical thinking skills of our students using the Practical Inquiry approach to teaching and learning. The focus throughout is on developing the Cognitive, Psychomotor and Intellectual skills of each student by means of  critical discourse, reflection, articulation and exploration in what can only be described as a deep, situated and authentic learning environment.

After their time at  QSA, our Girls are not only highly educated but will have developed into good caring citizens with leadership, self discipline and self confidence skills, all  necessary life skills to participate in a  21st Century  working environment.

Whilst you will get a glimpse of our school from this prospectus there is no substitute for a personal visit. We welcome your arrival and ensure you that we will take you on a personal tour of our campus.

You will then understand why we consider our school to be truly excellent and a “home from home”. Please contact us to arrange an individual visit or come and visit us on Open Day.

Something for All

Something for All

Co-curricular activities take place weekly after lunch time and after school. The girls are allowed to choose from a wide range of subjects, sports, interests and hobbies which range from Music and Drama to Robotics and the Anti-Litter Club to the President Award and News casting to the Elocution and Etiquette.

The varieties of clubs improve upon the sports, which include basketball, volleyball, table tennis, badminton, and board games like chess, scrabble, and monopoly. The girls at QSA are involved in activities which also include Humanitarian trips to the less-privileged as part of their community social responsibility. In addition to these, many of the girls participate in Junior Engineers, Technicians and Scientists (JETS) club where they display their knowledge of basic technological crafts. At QSA we endeavor to develop the girls’ personal and inter-personal behaviour by encouraging every one of them to participate in extra-curricular clubs and societies.
